The customer bought a single link even though the site wasn't officially launched yet.

Apparently this takes quite some time. Though Thunderbird has an import function, I couldn't import all my e-mails from Eudora (Thunderbird had trouble reading more than 1000 of my e-mails). Furthermore it wasn't possible to import the exact folder structure, so I had to rebuild this manually. Well I found out that I did! Apparently the archive files were not uploadet to my webserver because I did not had specified the "archive path" in my blogger.com control panel. Afterwards I had my SEO consultant to find out why I experienced such a huge decrease in rankings and traffic.

None of my websites are scraper sites but one of the possible reasons he came up with was that my sites are being punished as if they were scraper sites. Confused?

One of the most important factors is the length of the content. Untill now I've considered 200 words per article to be enough, but now I believe it should be a bit longer. About 300 - 350 words.
